Black and White Still Life

A still life in black and white oils. I would like to go back and fix some of the problems with it or just refine the edges and transitions, but we'll see. Total time was about 16 hours I think.

Mermaid commission

This is the character sheet for a commission I am currently working on. I didn't need to go into this much detail but it was fun solving all the questions I had for this character. I have one more character to rough out and then I'll start on the final.

This was a quick assignment in my Fundamentals of Painting class. A one hour study of a sphere and fourth oil painting ever. It's awesome getting back into painting in oils again.

A digital painting I just finished for a client. It's of Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds. Came out alright in my opinion.
